Two-Day Academic Workshop on Research & Publication
Western Mega College successfully conducted an engaging two-day academic workshop on August 1–2, 2025. The event, entitled "Case Analysis, Research Article Writing & Publication," was specifically designed for its Master of Business Administration (MBA) students, with the objective of bridging the divide between academic theory and the practical requirements of professional research. The workshop was marked by the enthusiastic and full engagement of the students which included batches of 2023, 2024, and 2025.
The workshop was facilitated by the esteemed Mr. Lal B. Pun, a PhD Scholar, M.Phil., and Gold Medalist, who acted as the primary resource person for the event. Mr. Pun presented a series of enlightening lectures, leveraging his extensive academic and professional experience. He offered a comprehensive exploration of academic research methodologies, with a strong focus on the practical application of real-world case study analysis.
A key emphasis of the workshop was to furnish participants with advanced, actionable insights into academic writing. Attendees were instructed on the intricate process of developing compelling case studies and research articles, which is an essential skill for their future careers. The sessions delved into the subtleties of topic selection, the strategic organization of an article, and the complex journey of navigating journal publication.
